Dr. Grant Severs was born and raised in Macomb, IL. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Western Illinois University. He then went on to complete his dental schooling at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD), he furthered his training to specialize in orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics by completing a 30-month residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. While becoming a licensed specialist and receiving a certificate in orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics at UMKC, Dr. Severs also completed his Master’s degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.
Dr. Severs is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Midwestern Society of Orthodontists. (MSO), the American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Missouri State Dental Society (MDA), UMKC Orthodontic Alumni Association, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Severs loves the fact that he can help give people a smile that they are proud of and that they want to show off. “Orthodontics is a wonderful profession where the results speak for themselves. I enjoy getting the opportunity to develop wonderful relationships with my patients and give them the smiles they want and deserve.”
Dr. Severs loves spending time outdoors. When Dr. Severs isn’t creating beautiful smiles, you can find him hanging out with his family, his girlfriend, Makenzie, and their dog, Red. He also is a proud uncle of his new nephew, Ryle!
