Dr. Brent Bowen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida, where he pursued his undergraduate education. He furthered his studies in dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama. During this period, Dr. Bowen received a prestigious Health Profession Scholarship from the US Army. After completing his active duty, he established and managed a private general practice in Asheville, North Carolina, until 2012 when he began his orthodontic residency at Seton Hill University.
With a decade of experience as a general dentist, Dr. Bowen delved into various aspects of dentistry, ultimately discovering that orthodontics brought him the most fulfillment. His unwavering dedication and passion to excel as an orthodontist drove him to achieve a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, along with a Master of Science in Orthodontics from Seton Hill University. Dr. Bowen’s professional journey led him to Missouri, where he established and owned his orthodontic practice in Rolla and St. Robert. In 2021, he decided to sell his practice and dedicated a year to working with Westrock Orthodontics in Waynesville and Camdenton. Currently serving as the primary orthodontist at Cardinal Orthodontics in Ballwin and Rock Hill, Dr. Bowen eagerly anticipates rejoining Westrock and returning to bring beautiful smiles to the faces of the Waynesville community!
Dr. Bowen believes that his background in general dentistry, coupled with his love for orthodontics, provides him with a comprehensive understanding of his patients’ overall needs. He takes pleasure in witnessing the positive impact orthodontics can have on their lives.
