Orthodontist in Camdenton, Dr. Kurt Hoffman:

Born in Yuma, Arizona while his father was serving as a dentist in the Navy Dental Corp, Dr. Kurt Hoffman stepped right in line, setting his heart on Orthodontics. Since then, he has practiced orthodontics in the Kansas City area for nearly 30 years – first alongside his father, and now alongside his son.

Prior to dental school, Kurt attended The University of Kansas where his emphasis in art and design inspired his longtime Orthodontic philosophy – a smile is a work of art. After receiving a B.A. in fine arts, Kurt earned his DDS at The University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he also completed a 30 month residency and received a certificate in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics. Later in his career, he returned to teach and mentor residents in the same program.

He finds people to be the best part of orthodontics, whether it’s teaching the next generation, or working with patients to create the smile they want!

Today, Kurt and his son, Henry, practice together at Hoffman Orthodontics. Their father-son relationship helps them prioritize a close-knit practice that feels like family for employees and patients alike! They approach orthodontics by treating each case creatively, because properly composing the varied facial and dental components of an esthetic smile is an art itself.

Aside from dentistry, Kurt enjoys spending time with his wife, Susan, and their adult children, Henry and Lucy. You can find him fishing, reading, or playing with his many dogs.
