Orthodontist in Festus and Arnold: Specializing in orthodontics and certified to provide braces and Invisalign® treatment
Dr. Erin Fraundorf chose to become a dentist after having a root canal at age 11. She was intrigued by the procedure and by the science and artistry of dentistry.
Dr. Erin graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian of her class from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Science with a major in Biochemistry and Biology. She went on to complete her residency and finished at the top of her class to earn her dental degree(D.M.D.) from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. During her dental education, she was inducted into the honor societies of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) and Phi Kappa Phi and has received the Hinman Dental Society Award. She then completed her orthodontics residency at Saint Louis University where she again graduated valedictorian.
Dr. Erin loves being able to develop relationships with every patient that walks through her door and getting to know their story. She strives to work with each patient to create a plan unique to their lifestyle. She loves being able to witness her patients’ smile transformations, both inside and out.
I love how orthodontics is such an aesthetically-driven field of dentistry. It perfectly meshes the worlds of healthcare and aesthetics. Classically trained but modern in my approach to treatment, my goal is to have my patients get the smile they have always wanted with minimal disruption to their unique lifestyles. I prioritize the facial soft tissue and as such, my treatment plans heavily rely on that to get the best smile from all angles. Additionally, I have completed additional specialized training with the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, to administer botulinum toxin (Botox) to patients.
Dr. Erin is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society, and the Phi Kappa Phi All University Honor Society.
When Dr. Erin is not transforming smiles, you can find her practicing yoga, trying new restaurants or at a local farmer’s market. She especially loves to spend time with her family and friends and enjoys being outside walking her two dogs, Finnegan and Duffy.
