When Should I See An Orthodontist?

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an initial evaluation at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than the age of seven. Not only does orthodontics perfect beautiful smiles it also helps boost confidence, enables a healthier lifestyle, and can serve as prevention for more serious future dental work for you or your child.

At Westrock Orthodontics we have over 20 doctors that provide custom orthodontic treatment plans for kids, teens, and adults throughout Arkansas and Southern Missouri.

Why Invisalign®?

Invisalign® straightens your teeth without wires and brackets, using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners. The aligners are designed to gradually move your teeth to the desired position, as prescribed by your orthodontist, with each one made to fit your mouth at each treatment stage. These aligners are easily removable for eating and drinking, as well as brushing and flossing.

How it works:

  1. It starts with a personal consultation where you will receive a smile scan using one of our state-of-the-art iTero Element® scanners or receive impressions from a mold.
  2. With these images and molds, your doctor can create a treatment plan to precisely plot every tooth movement throughout the course of your treatment.
  3. Once this treatment plan has been devised, your orthodontist can present your customized treatment plan.
  4. Once your treatment plan has been finalized and agreed upon, your custom, removable aligners are created. Each aligner is cut down specifically for your gum line and inspected to guarantee that it meets the Invisalign® quality standards.
