4 Resolutions for a Healthier Smile in 2017

Here’s to healthy smiles in 2017!


  1. See your dentist twice a year

    Most insurances cover a cleaning visit to your dentist twice a year. Take advantage of your coverage and see your dental professional! Many times work, school and life in general can get in the way of keeping up with your dental health but be sure to make this a priority in 2017.

  2. Create and Maintain A Consistent Hygiene Routine

    Brushing and flossing on a daily basis is an important component in maintaining your overall health! Creating a routine, as opposed to being one of those people who brush when it comes to mind, will help you meet this resolution of having a healthier smile!

    We encourage you to brush twice a day to prevent a buildup of bacteria and gum disease. Your risk for developing gum disease is much higher when there is a buildup of plaque on the teeth.

  3. Quit Smoking

    Smoking leads to countless dental and overall health problems. Smoking affects the normal function of the gum tissue cells is affected which makes smokers in general more susceptible to infections and many of the problems listed below.

  4. Eat Healthier & Choose Water

    Most of the food choices that are good for you are also good for your teeth.
